The second phase of the opening of High School Sports Season in the Lakes Region is underway.
In Missouri, that means things are getting underway today as practice sessions may begin. Competition is still two weeks away from beginning though several schools will be begin public scrimmages and jamborees next week.
In Arkansas, it is not only week two of practice sessions but several sports are getting underway following the Golf Season which began last week. Schools can begin their Tennis Seasons .
Arkansas schools will have Benefit Games for Football and Volleyball over the next couple of weeks including the Harrison Goblin Benefit Football game scheduled for next Tuesday at F.S. Garrison Stadium.
