Friday/s High School Basketball Results includes a win for Forsyth over a team they had not beaten for over 15 years.
The Panthers pick up a 90-58 win at Fair Grove for their first win over the Eagles since 2009. Forsyth got hot early and continued to build the lead all night long against the young Eagles team. Tamarkus Holmes led four in double figures with 20 points followed by 18 from Chris Halbrook, 17 from Griffin Coen, and Cooper Lais with 12.
The Panthers seize control of the Mid-Lakes Conference race now 5-0, and just two wins away from the title.
In other Mid-Lakes play, Hollister wins the match-up of winless conference teams holding off Reeds Spring 48-41.
In other action, Branson rebounds after their loss to Rogersville on Tuesday getting an 85-67 win over West Plains, their second win over the Zizzers this season.
In Arkansas, Harrison splits their 5A-West home doubleheader with Alma with the Girls winning 54-29 and the Boys losing 59-51.
