Velva “Jo” LaFever, age 92, of Seligman, Missouri passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at her home.
She was born February 26, 1933 in Enid, Oklahoma the daughter of Forrest and Nina (Klinger) Clark, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her youngest son, Gregory Allen LaFever.
Surviving are one son, Lynn LaFever, Jr. and his wife Linda of Mustang, Oklahoma; daughter, Veronica Copeland of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Jo grew up and attended school in Enid, Oklahoma graduating from Enid High School. She moved to Seligman in 1993 coming from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jo dedicated 25 years of service to Walmart as a stocker from where she retired. She loved gardening, her church, going to the lake and attending family gatherings, but most of all she loved her family. She was a member of Seligman New Beginnings Ministries. Jo will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
