Robert Richard Dodge, age 73, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away December 3, 2025. He entered this life on October 22, 1952, the son of Robert and Geraldine (Shaffer) Dodge in Connecticut. Robert was joined in marriage to Sheron Dame on February 14, 1998. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Robert had an adventurous spirit and loved boating, fishing, deep-sea fishing, hunting, and traveling. Throughout his career, he worked as an ironworker building numerous bridges and later became an entrepreneur who expanded his business from one store to five. Above all, Robert cherished his wife and family. He was an exceptionally loving father and grandfather, and everyone who knew him will treasure the memories they shared with him over the years.
Robert is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Sheron Dodge of Hollister, Missouri; children: Robert Nathan Dodge of Anchorage, Alaska, Adam Dodge and wife, Amy of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and April Dodge and husband, Wendell of Belleair, Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren: Reina and Kamryn; Kevin and Benjamin; and Eliana and Joella; great-grandchild, Rylix; and siblings: Mike (Karen) Dodge, Carolyn (Chris) Page, and Dave (Sheryl) Dodge; as well as many other extended family members.
