Robert Allen Johnson, age 77, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away October 21, 2023. He entered this life February 1, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Roscoe and Edith (Welch) Johnson. He was joined in marriage February 18, 1984, to Janet Wharton.
A man of many interests, Bob could be found fishing, collecting movies, carving objects out of many types of materials, writing poems and short stories, and enjoying family. He worked at Silver Dollar City and appreciated the “City” life. Many lives will be affected by his loss; he will be greatly missed.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shawn Johnson; son, Robert Johnson; and brother, Glennie Lopinski.
Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janet Johnson; son, Tyrell (Noel) Johnson of Crane, Missouri; three daughters: Tara (Daniel Hill) Boan of Reeds Spring, Missouri, Michelle Johnson of Cottonwood, Arizona, and Tiffany (Steven) Jones of Kissee Mills, Missouri; six grandchildren: Kaivyn, Kaidynce, Kailyn, Maylynn, Jasper, and Noah; two brothers: Ronnie Lopinski of Mesa, Arizona, and Brian Johnson of Washington; and sister, Kathleen Turner of Phoenix, Arizona.
