Reva Geraldine Swanson, age 92, passed away on February 12, 2026.
Reva Geraldine (Garrison) Swanson passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at her home in Branson, MO at the age of 92. Gerri was born to Dr Paul and Reva (Conner) Garrison on June 12 1933 in Hillview, IL. She married the love of her life, James “Jim” Swanson over 70 years ago in Illinois.
Gerri dedicated her life to her Lord Jesus and her loving family. She was the most selfless person spending her life giving to others. She served in Prison Ministries, Woman’s Ministries and numerous other ways for her Lord. All who met Gerri knew she was an incredible Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a mentor to so many as well as very generous with her time and talents. She made everyone feel like family. She was also the best hugger and greatest prayer warrior you could know.
During Gerri’s final week on earth, she had glimpses in Heaven, going in and out seeing Jesus, her husband, parents and His Glory. Through her faithfulness this week, God touched lives and miracles happened. She was and still is a good and faithful servant. The seeds she planted will be watered forever as they are like sands on the beach. Gerri just made Heaven brighter and to all of us who place our hope in Jesus, she will be the first to welcome us to our Heavenly home.
Gerri is survived by her children, Catherine Wilkens of Citrus Springs, FL, Marcia Greer of Port Richey, FL, Cristen (Bogie) Bohinc of Branson, MO and Jennifer (Bill) White of Branson, MO, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and her brother Paul Garrison of Sunrise Beach, MO.
Gerri was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Jim Swanson, her parents, a brother David Garrison and infant grandchildren.
