Perry G. Stephenson, 63, of Hollister.
Memorial service for Perry G. Stephenson, 63, of Hollister, will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, at 4:30 PM at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth. Mr. Stephenson entered into rest on Friday, June 14, 2024. He will be cremated under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, with interment at a later date.
Perry Glenn Stephenson was born August 11, 1961, in Iowa to Perry and Betty (Jackson). He had moved with his family when he was a child from Iowa to Quincy, Missouri. Perry graduated from Weaubleau High School. He was a heavy equipment operator in Taney County and neighboring counties excavating for several contractors.
Perry loved his family and the time that he was able to visit with them and tell stories. His dearest friend and companion was his dog, “Stingray”, who passed away ten years ago. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys of which he collected their memorabilia and liked going to 7Brewer on West 76 of which he would go several times a day.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Stephenson and a brother Jimmy.
Perry was blessed with two daughters who survive him, Amanda May (Don) of Lavana, Ark, Amy Stephenson (Jeff Allison) Ozark, his father Perry Stephenson, two brothers Wade Stephenson (Becky) of Springfield, Mo., Wayne Stephenson (Carole) of Ozark, Mo. and two grandchildren Noah and Melody.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, starting at 3:30 PM till service time, Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth.
