Marion Ronnie Green Jr., age 55, of Nixa, Missouri.
Marion Ronnie Green Jr., age 55, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on December 12, 2024. He entered this life on March 27, 1969, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to father, Marion Ronnie Green Sr., and mother, Alva Jewel Green (Himes).
Working as a mechanic for most of his life, one of his favorite activities was working on cars, taking them apart to see how they went back together. He enjoyed building and painting models and spending time with his family. His weekends and summers were filled with camping and float trips, and always ended with a beer and stories shared around the campfire. The memories created will be cherished forever.
Marion was preceded in death by father, Marion Green Sr.; grandparents: Earl and Loretta Himes; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Alva Green of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters: Julia Vrooman and husband, Garrett of Salado, Texas, and Ruth Green and husband, Jacob of Merriam Woods, Missouri; daughters: Breanna Shackelford and husband, Chris of Nixa, Missouri, and Rachael Stephens of Parker, Colorado; son, Cody Diggan of Forsyth, Missouri; and grandchildren: Delani, Saige, Alice, and Bradley; nieces: Brittany, Emaly, Ashley, Gabbie, Kylie, and Brooke; and nephew, Bret.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday December 28, 2024, at Del Showers Community Center, 4385 S Hwy 176, Merriam Woods, Missouri.
