Lucille Butts, beloved daughter, sister, and friend entered into rest on July 12, 2022 in Branson at the age of 89.
Lucille Marie Butts was born on February 8, 1933 to Delmar Walter Butts and Nellie M. (Gilbert) Butts in Zion, Iowa. She grew up in Iowa, attending a country grade school and graduating from Arispe High School in Arispe, Iowa. Lucille then got a working education at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines where she trained to become a registered nurse. In 1971, she moved from Osceola, Iowa to Southwest Missouri.
Lucille loved time with family, traveling and caring for her pets. She had many pets over the years, including her cockatiel, puppies, and an aquarium of fish and had special fondness for her dog Foxie. Lucille’s presence and love will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Ernest, Willard, Maurice and Virgil.
Lucille leaves behind her sister, Violet Crain of Branson; brothers, Larry Butts & wife Stephanie of Murray, IA, Gary Butts and wife Mary Ann of Branson, Raymond Butts and wife Donessa residing near Waco, TX.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Rev. Kenny Robinette will officiate. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.
