Linda Lee Kellum, age 72, Hollister, Missouri
Linda Lee Kellum, a faith-filled, generous, and loving woman, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2023, in Hollister, Missouri with her sons by her side. Born on October 2, 1950, in Dover, Delaware, Linda was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.
Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Willard E. Barcus, Jr. and Betty E. (Weller) Barcus. She was a cherished sister to Alan (Craig) Barcus and his wife Patty of Dover, DE, and a dear aunt to Alan Willard Barcus. Linda was also a beloved cousin to seven family members, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Linda moved from Dover, Delaware, to Missouri, as a young wife and mother and it is where she would spend the next 53 years of her life. She was a dedicated professional in the banking industry, working diligently in the accounts payable department.
Linda was a devoted mother to her sons, Gene Bobsin and his wife Dawn of Hollister, and Steven Bobsin and his wife Angi of Scottsdale, AZ. She was a doting grandmother to Skyler, Alyssa, and Steven, and a loving step-grandmother to Justin and Katlyn. Linda also had the joy of being a step-great-grandmother to Tristan, Atlas, and Aurora. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Linda had a knack for making friends wherever she went, and she was blessed with many devoted friends throughout her life. Her life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity, and her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort.
Linda’s life will be remembered and celebrated on Friday, July 21, 2023. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
Memorials are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org, or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 as a reflection of Linda’s love and care for the interests of children.
