Karen Lee Garrett, age 81, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at her home.
She was born July 13, 1943 in Leann, Missouri the daughter of James Arthur and Maxine (Slagle) Crider, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her sister, Glenna Willhite and brother, James Louis Crider.
Surviving are two sons, Donnie Garrett and his wife Amy of Fayetteville, North Carolina and David Garrett of Exeter, Missouri; one brother, Steve Crider and his wife Linda of Rogers, Arkansas; two sisters, Ronda Raynor and her husband Gary of Washburn, Missouri and Rama “Jo” Coffer of Exeter, Missouri and three grandchildren, Jazmine, Enica and Haylie.
Karen attended school in Aurora, Missouri graduating from Aurora High School. She was employed by FASCO, Industries in Cassville, Missouri for many years from where she retired in 1994. After retiring she became a home health care provider. Karen enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing cards and going on float trips with family and friends, but most of all she loved her family. Karen will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Ridgley Baptist Church in Ridgley, Missouri under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Bobby Harrison will conduct the services.
