Joycelene Alicia “Lisa” Swiger, age 63, of Shell Knob, Missouri
Joycelene Alicia “Lisa” Swiger, age 63, of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born March 5, 1958 in Gallup, New Mexico the daughter of John and Kathlyn (Kubli) Osborne. On February 14, 1985 in Applegate, Oregon she was united in marriage to Richard Swiger, who preceded her in death on May 17, 2021. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Bill Osborne.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin Swiger and his wife Tammy of Grants Pass, Oregon and Daniel Swiger and his wife Jennifer of Wiarton, Ontario Canada; one daughter, Katie Barrett and her husband Michael of Shell Knob, Missouri; two step-sons, Robin Swiger and Ryan Swiger; three brothers, Wesley Osborne, Robert Osborne and Michael Kubli; two sisters Georgia Moore and Verena Carriere; twenty-four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and her best friend of over fifty years, Brenda Floyd.
After graduating high school Lisa married and continued her education obtaining an Associate Degree from Rogue Valley Community College. Before moving to Shell Knob in 2021 she lived in Gold Beach, Oregon for eighteen years. She was self-employed as a property manager and computer technician. Some favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles and traveling. She loved helping people, going to the beach, camping and being out in nature but most of all she loved being a grandma and spending time with her grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
