Jimmy Dean Byrd, age 64, of Cassville, Missouri
Jimmy Dean Byrd, age 64, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home.
He was born March 28, 1957 in Rocky Ford, Colorado the son of Alcie and Bessie (Lemons) Byrd, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Richard and Clarence and two sisters, Yvonne and Elsie.
Surviving are three brothers and one sister, Alfred Byrd and his wife Melba of Montgomery, Alabama, Ethel Sandberg and her husband Jim of Cassville, Missouri, Kenneth Byrd and his wife Gail of Cassville, Missouri and Jerry Byrd and his wife Linda of Cassville, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy and his family moved to this area in 1972 where he attended school in Cassville and Exeter, graduating from Exeter High School in Exeter, Missouri. After graduation he went to Crowder College where he attained an associate degree in education. Jimmy was last employed by Justin Boot in Cassville for several years as a gluer. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, wood carving and drawing, he was very artistic. He was a member of Church of Christ in Cassville.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, February 14, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Alfred Byrd will conduct the services.
