Jack McLaughlin, 86 of Hollister
Jack Ray McLaughlin was born on October 29, 1934 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Oscar LeRoy & Evelyn (Nelson) McLaughlin. He served in the United States Navy on the USS T.F. Nickel during the Korean Conflict. On November 22, 1956 he married his sweetheart, Anita Powell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1971, Jack and Anita moved to Hollister from Los Angeles, CA.
Jack worked much of his life with the United States Postal Service. In his retirement he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandkids.
Jack entered into rest on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home in Hollister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roy and James McLaughlin and one sister, Noma Carpenter.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Anita of Hollister; son, Monty McLaughlin of Hollister; daughter, Trena Donovan and husband Dave of Forsyth; sisters, Hazel Bittick of Caldwell, ID and Kathryn Bottom of Grant, NE along with his four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
