Dorothy Louise Haratyk took the righteous right hand of the Lord Jesus as he led her to her eternal home on Friday May 17, 2024, at the age of 98. She was born in Leeco, Kentucky on December 23, 1925, the first of five children to DeWitt A. Dole and Faye Vivian Dole.
Dorothy was married to the love of her life, Joseph R. Haratyk, and they had two wonderful children. She was a wonderful homemaker and a successful businesswoman. Dorothy lived in many areas of the country including Wyoming, Oregon, and Missouri. She was a seventy-plus years Episcopal Church member and possessed the gift of mercy helping many through life’s challenges whether she knew them or not. Dorothy was an amazing sister and friend and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by parents: DeWitt and Faye Dole; husband, Joseph Haratyk; daughter, Donna Jo Haratyk; son, Rodney Haratyk; and two sisters: Betty and Donna.
Dorothy is survived by her brother, Jack Dole of Republic, Missouri and sister, Virginia Odde of Thermopolis, Wyoming.
