Doris Ann Vohs, age 72, of Forsyth, MO
Doris Ann Vohs, age 72, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away August 7, 2021, in Forsyth with family nearby. She entered this life August 23, 1948, in Burlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Bauman) Vohs. Preceding her in death are her parents and a nephew, Mark Amborn.
An elementary school teacher for many years, Doris used her sense of humor and love of reading to help instruct her wide-eyed students. In her time at home, she could be found crafting, sewing, and baking. She influenced many lives throughout her teaching career and will be fondly remembered when she comes to mind. She will be greatly missed.
Doris is survived by her brother, Paul (Carolyn) Vohs of Janesville, Wisconsin; three sisters: Carol (Wayne) Amborn of Burlington, Wisconsin, Joan (Russ) Wagoner of Appleton, Wisconsin, and Nancy Vohs of Burlington, Wisconsin; ten nieces and nephews; and 27 great nieces and nephews.
