Donnita Rae Coonts, age 56, of Piercetown, Arkansas, passed away August 14, 2021, in Harrison, Arkansas. She entered this life February 5, 1965, in Torrance, California, the daughter of Jesse and Donna (Smith) O’Dell.
Donnita was of the Pentecostal faith, and there was no doubt that she loved her Lord. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Arkansas Razorbacks. Even at work she made sure to never miss a game. Donnita was one to always help those in need, giving of what she had to supply others’ needs. Her greatest joy in life was her grandbabies and their giggles. She will be greatly missed.
Donnita is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 31 years, David Arles Coonts; special aunt and uncle, Warren and Donna Wilcoxson; and sister, Dreama; and cousin, Kathy.
She is survived by her daughter, Haylie (Ryan) Crow of Piercetown, Arkansas; grandchildren: Colton and Mackenzie; and eight special cousins: Doug (April) Wilcoxson, Debbie (Mark) Brinkley, Lisa (Peter) Marquez, Wesley (Laura) Brinkley, Kane Murillo, Amanda Murillo, Albert Murillo, Barbara Stevens with daughters Autumn and Ivy; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Mt. Judea Church on the Rock in Mt. Judea, Arkansas, with Bro. Steven Holt officiating.
