Austin James Prier, age 35, passed away on February 4, 2026.
Austin James Prier, age 35, of Golden, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at his home.
He was born March 22, 1990 in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Jeff and Mandi (Summers) Prier.
Austin attended school in Cassville graduating with the class of 2008. He tried college and found it just wasn’t for him and after a few years moved back to Golden. He tried a few different jobs but always gravitated to computers. Then he came to work for Prier Tire Supply in the warehouse, but more importantly as the resident computer guru. He had lived in Golden all of his life. Austin enjoyed playing video games on the computer with his friends, writing poems and singing songs. He loved his dog, Sammie, and cat, Clint. Austin will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents, Jeff and Mandi Prier of Golden; paternal grandparents, Winfred and LeeOna Prier of Golden; maternal grandparents, Gerald Summers of Golden and Linda Bowie of Bergman, Arkansas and brothers, Adam Prier and wife Andrea Mata of Springfield and Andrew Prier of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Zandy Vandall will conduct the services. A private burial will be held at Munsey Cemetery in Eagle Rock, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
