The official High School Sports Season closes for Missouri Lakes Region Schools with the completion of the Class 3, 4, and 5 State Track and Field Championships in Jefferson City.

Branson's Kyshin Isringhausen becomes the second Lakes Area Athlete to claim a State Pole Vault Title this year. Isringhausen clears 14 ft. 8 1/4 in. to take the Class 5 Boys Pole Vault Title. Isringhausen was the only competitor to clear that height and later tried but failed to eclipse 15 feet after securing the Gold Medal.

Last week, John Carswell of School of the Ozarks claimed the Class 2 State Pole Vault Championship.

Two other athletes claimed top eight finishes in the state meets. In Class 4 Boys, Caden Wiest of Reeds Spring finished seventh in the Shot Put while Hollister's Katherine Schaefer claimed a pair of fifth place finishes in Class 3 Girls in the 800 and 1600 Meter Runs.
