Day Two of the Arkansas State Volleyball Tournament is in the books.
The Harrison Lady Goblins outlast Valley View in five games at the 5A Tournament in Searcy. After the Lady Goblins had claimed the first two games 25-18, 25-19, the Lady Blazers rallied to grab the next two games 25-9, 25-22. Harrison was able to recover and take the fifth and deciding game 15-7 to advance to today's state semi-final against Benton at 3:00. A win would send them to the state title match Saturday in Hot Springs.
Other area teams saw their season come to an end as Valley Springs lost in the 3A Tournament they are hosting, falling in four games to Crowley's Ridge while Yellville-Summit was swept out of the 2A Tournament at Quitman by Mansfield.
