A woman who is already facing charges in Marion County has now added a new set of charges.
According to court documents, 44-year-old Lisa Edmiston of Yellville was arrested after an incident on January 28 where a man caught her sleeping in his home. The homeowner notice several items had been thrown onto the floor and some closet doors open. The homeowner, thinking someone might still be in the house, went to the bedroom to retrieve a firearm when he found Edmiston sleeping on the bed. He held her at gunpoint and contacted the Sheriff's Office.
Edmiston has charges against her in a previous case from May of 2024 where she was accused of burglary and also admitted to having taken methamphetamine.
Edmiston faces more Burglary and Criminal Mischief Charges in this latest incident and is currently in the Marion County Jail on a $10,000 Bond.
