What's Boone County Library Doing This Month?

There's plenty to do this month at the Boone County Library.

Terry Register appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Tuesday to discuss what's up at the library this Month. She kicked off by talking about the library's summer reading program registration.

  • Summer reading registration - May 27-June 6

Adult's Activities

  • Reversing diabetes - May 6 & May 13
  • Master Gardeners - May 8
  • Mother's Day Self-care Workshop - May 15
  • Crafts - May 20
  • Chair yoga - May 21
  • Clarinet trio performance - May 31 at 2 p.m.
  • Crochet and fiber arts - every Tuesday at 2 p.m.
  • Chess club - Saturdays at 1 p.m. except for third Saturday

Children's Activities

  • Flowers for Mom - May 1
  • Paper tube butterflies - May 15
  • Straw painting - May 22

Teen Activities

  • Beaded bracelets for Mom - May 6
  • Will It Waffle? - May 13
  • Steampunk picture frames - May 20

The third Saturday in May - Children's book reading at farmers market at 9:30 a.m.
