Valley Springs Man Arrested After Being Discovered in Marion County Family's Home

A Marion County family returned from a trip to Mountain Home to find a man lying nude in bed in their house.

Their discovery led to the arrest of 44-year-old Tommy Wayne Warren of Valley Springs.

According to the probable cause statement in the case, Marion County deputies were called to house on State Highway 14 south of Yellville Saturday night when the family returned home from dinner and their youngest daughter went into the bedroom and discovered Warren lying on the bed without any clothes on. When deputies asked Warren what he was doing, he stated he had come inside to warm up but didn’t know where he was.

A cell phone was found at the house, but Warren said he didn’t know if it was his or not.

Deputies discovered Warren matched the description of a man who had broken into a house about one half mile away earlier in the day. A picture of Warren was shown to the residents of that home who confirmed he had come into their home as well.

Warren is charged with two felony counts of breaking or entering and is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
