Boone County Treasurer candidate David Thompson said Wednesday that the way the treasurer’s office has been reporting is an issue because the minimum is being done.
Thompson said he doesn’t think anything improper is being done in reporting but that it’s “basically just the minimum being done.” He said he wants to do more.
Thompson is in year 18 on the Boone County Quorum Court. He said one of his ideas is to have only topics pertinent to a given meeting discussed. “More updates along the way I think would just be better,” he said during KHOZ’s “Around The Table” show.
The full interview with Thompson is on the “Around The Table” Facebook Page.
