The Arkansas State Police releases information on a traffic crash last week that resulted in one fatality and another injury.
The ASP report indicates the crash occurred on Tuesday January 7 on Highway 65 in Searcy County when a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Thomas Clark of Harrison crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Mary Pollyea of Jasper.
Clark was killed in the crash while Pollyea was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
This is the first fatality crash worked in the area by the Arkansas State Police in 2025.
