Chrissy Larchez said to mark calendars for May 31 because a community event is happening at the Duran Center.
A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. The program starts at 6 p.m.
Larchez and and Rebecca Williams from the Boone County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition discussed the event on KHOZ’s “Around The Table” Tuesday. “We will be bringing people in to talk about underage drinking, the misuse of marijuana…” Larchez went on talk about marijuana awareness.
Methamphetamine and fentanyl will also be discussed at the event.
