The Taney County Health Department has updated the number of COVID Deaths.
In a release this week, the department confirms the deaths of five individuals previously unreported as having lost their lives to the virus over the months of July through September ranging in age from their 60's to 90's. This raised the total number of COVID Deaths to 149.
The adjusted numbers are due to additional information received from the Taney County Coroner's Office and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services about the location and cause of deaths of those individuals.
