A park that had closed due in September has now reopened.

The full release from a Facebook post by the Society of Ozarkian Hillcrofters is below:

Thanks to funding and volunteer assistance from The Society of Ozarkian Hillcrofters, and the approval of the property owner, the Springfield-Harrison Roadside Park featuring the Murder Rocks and trail has reopened.

The rules and regulations of the park have been posted clearly with multiple signs. Also, park boundary signs have been installed to clearly mark the boundary.

This park is not only a great place to get out and experience the Ozarks outdoors, but it is a location of historic significance. It is a privilege to have access. If you are visiting the park and see any activity that goes against the rules or is suspicious, please notify the Taney County Sheriff's Department immediately. There is a no-tolerance policy for violators of the rules.
Everyone's help is always appreciated. Enjoy the park and our area history!
