The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning to consumers, asking them to double-check their shredded cheese.
That warning came after Ohio-based Great Lakes Cheese Co. announced a recall of many of their products because of potential presence of metal in them. The recall started on Oct. 3 but was reclassified on Dec. 1 to Class II.
