Two area school officials talk about the necessity of keeping things moving forward even as COVID-19 continues to impact their district.
On the latest edition of the "At Your Service" podcast, Galena Superintendent of Schools Danny Humble and High School Principal Bob Baker talk about what has transpired in their school district since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020 and through the continued flexibility in changing plans as needed to deal with the current situation.
Humble and Baker also talk about the impact the pandemic has had not only on the academic program but some of the other service programs include the meal program. The pair also discuss they toll the changing from on-site to remote learning and the ever changing situation has had on the mental health of all involved.
