In just under a month, annual School Board Elections will be held in Arkansas.
There are a few contested races in the region including one in the Harrison School District, with incumbent Kelley McLaughlin being challenged by Michael Bardwell for one of the At-Large Seats. Mindy Both is running unopposed for the second seat.
There will also be a contested race in the Bergman School District with Regina Chism and Don Mahler running for a seat.
The other school districts in Boone County with have candidates running unopposed or no candidates running.
Early voting begins May 2 and runs the rest of that week as well as May 8 while Election Day will be Tuesday May 9.
