Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders delivers her State of the State Address to open the 2025 Legislative Session on Tuesday.
During the nearly 40-minute speech, Sanders laid out some of her priorities for this session including higher education, public safety, immigration and children’s mental health.
Sanders highlighted the passage and implementation of the 2023 LEARNS Act and also introduced Arkansas ACCESS, a program she is proposing for this session to allow prospective students to fill out one application for any of the state colleges and universities.
