Round one of showers and thunderstorms moved through the region on Tuesday.
While no severe weather was reported in the Lakes Region, portions of central Missouri did see several pop-up storms turn severe with little to no damage reported.
While rain continues in the forecast through the weekend, the next big chance of severe weather will be Friday, with the National Service predicted a Slight Risk of severe storms beginning early Friday morning.
