As a major warm-up begins in the Lakes Region, the National Weather Service says rain may enter the picture later this week.
According to the extended forecast from the NWS, temperatures will warm-up to around 60 ahead of a frontal system that will move through the Lakes Region on Wednesday. Right now, the rain chances stand around 40 to 60% for the area. The front will briefly drop temperatures with highs by Friday only around 50 before warming up again for the weekend.
