SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Thanksgiving is just a few days away and shoppers are making sure they have everything they need for the big meal and there is good news for those shoppers as prices for Thanksgiving items are down this year compared to last.
The American Farm Bureau Federation says a classic Thanksgiving meal for ten with a 16-pound turkey, sides and dessert costs just over $58 this year, which was a 5% decrease from 2023.
