The Arkansas State Police has identified the victim of a hit-and-run fatality that occurred early Saturday morning north of Eureka Springs.
The victim has been identified as Penny Bowling, 61, of Holiday Island.
Troopers responded around 2:45 a.m. to reports of a pedestrian being struck on Highway 187 near Nightingale Road. The Carroll County Coroner pronounced Bowling deceased at approximately 3:30 a.m.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a newer model white Chevrolet pickup truck. ASP Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle and driver.
