The Missouri Department of Transportation begins a project to improve traction on curves on Highway 65 south of Hollister.
According to a Facebook Post from MODOT Southwest Missouri, the work will be done between the Industrial Park Drive interchange and the crossover intersection with Buffalo Ridge Boulevard.
Crews will be laying down high-friction pavement treatment at several location which will help improve traction on the two curves along that section of Highway 65.
Work will take place during weekdays between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am beginning this evening and continuing through July 28. The release states work will begin on the southbound lanes then once completed, work will begin northbound.
Motorist are urged to be cautious and anticipate delays during the road work.
