Opening Day Announced for Creekside Community Center

The date has been set for the opening of the new Creekside Community Center in Downtown Harrison.

According to a Facebook post by the city, October 12 is the target date for the opening.

At a recent Harrison City County Meeting recapped by the Harrison Daily Times, Mayor Jerry Jackson states that there will be a ceremony held that day. He also indicated that the center may open even though there may be some final parts of the construction to be completed. An indoor walking track, indoor heated pool, gymnasium, e-gaming room will be part of the facility.
