One Sentenced, Two Others Still to Go to Trial on 2024 Assault Charges

One of three people charged with the 2024 Assault on a woman in Branson in 2024 is heading to prison for life.

According to online court documents recapped by the Branson Tri-Lakes News, Anthony Ambriz pleaded guilty in July  to First Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action.

In a story posted by Ozarks Dynacom last year, Ambriz along with Ethan Brodie and Conner Tuttle were arrested after being accused of assaulting a female at a camp near Animal Safari Road and Fall Creek on the evening of May 5, 2024. Branson Police Officers responded to the scene and found a critically injured female who was transported to a Springfield hospital with life threatening injuries.

Last week, Ambriz was sentenced by Taney County Judge Jeffrey Merrell to life in prison on the assault charge and 15 years for Armed Criminal Action.

Both Brodie and Tuttle are scheduled for their next court appearance in this case on October 30.
