A three-vehicle crash in Harrison Monday claims a life and injures another.
The report from the Harrison Police Department released by the Arkansas State Police indicates the crash occurred around 8:30 am on Highway 65-62-412 and involved three pick-up trucks. The pick-up driven by 70-year-old William Elting of Harrison was moving into the southbound lane when it collided with a second pick-up which then pushed it into a third pick-up truck.
Elting was killed in the crash while one of the other drivers, 54-year-old Eric Kirk of Bolivar, was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Conditions were dry and clear at the time of th crash according to the report.
