HARRISON, Ark. — The fourth annual One Day Giving Day benefiting North Arkansas Regional Medical Center's Claude Parrish Cancer Center is set for Oct. 25, according to Dan Dillard of the North Arkansas Medical Foundation.
Dillard discussed the fundraiser Wednesday on KHOZ’s “Around The Table” program. The event lasts all day and includes more than 40 participating businesses. Ten percent of sales from restaurants, shops, food trucks, boutiques and other local establishments will go toward supporting the cancer center.
Some businesses will participate for limited hours. Dillard said 7 Brew Coffee will contribute 100 percent of its proceeds earned from noon to 1 p.m. to the Foundation.
The Claude Parrish Cancer Center has served the Harrison community for 35 years. Dillard said the event benefits the foundation, local businesses and consumers.
A list of participating businesses is available at narmc.com, where visitors can also find a link to donate directly at narmc.com/donate. Donations can be made on Oct. 25 or any day.
The full interview with Dillard is available on the “Around The Table” Facebook page.
