North Arkansas College Foundation Dinner Next Week

Several individuals will be honored at the North Arkansas College Foundation Dinner next with the deadline for R.S.V.P. coming up on Thursday.

Local businessman Mike McNutt, owner of Distribution Solutions, Inc. will receive the 2021 Ozarks Ambassador Award presented by the North Arkansas College Foundation.  He will be honored during the Foundation’s annual Evening on the Plaza Dinner on Tuesday, November 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the L.E. “Gene” Durand Center in Harrison.  The dinner will be preceded by a reception at 6 p.m. in the FedEx Freight Atrium at Crockett Tower.  Tickets for the event are $50 per person or $250 for a table of six. 

Established in 1990, the Ozarks Ambassador Award is presented annually to someone who has represented northern Arkansas with distinction nationwide in one or more of the following fields: agriculture, finance, medicine, education, the arts, politics, law, business, social services, the ministry, or industry.

Jerry, Barb, and Anne Mitchell will be presented with the 2021 Pioneer Impact Award.  This award was established in 2018 to recognize individuals for their service to Northark and to the community.  The Mitchell family has been longtime supporters of the Pioneers over the years in a variety of ways, and they continue to support the College and its athletes.  Northark is proud to honor them for their service.

Northark will recognize two Distinguished Alumni for outstanding accomplishments in their respective career fields. Wes Bradford, deputy prosecuting attorney for the state of Arkansas will receive the 2020-21 Distinguished Alumnus award. The 2019-20 Distinguished Alumnus is Paul Harp, manager of facility design solutions & projects at FedEx Freight.

“We’re excited to return to celebrating the contributions and achievements of our local supporters and graduates,” Dr. Rodney Arnold, executive director of the Foundation commented. “We invite everyone to join us as we recognize these individuals and enjoy the dinner which will be provided by Jamie’s Creative Catering.”
