At Thursday’s Harrison City Council Meeting, the recently appointed leader for the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce gave a report to the board about his first couple of months on the job.
Jeff Nielson, who also appeared recently on KHOZ’s “Around the Table” program, gave the council an update on is first weeks on the job which included meeting a lot of individuals, businesses and organizations and also has had recent conversations with elected officials and leaders of other area chambers.
Nielson also talked about the upcoming State of Education Presentation which Harrison Superintendent Dr. Stewart Pratt will be presenting along with Mayor Jerry Jackson’s upcoming State of the City Address.
Nielson also mentioned the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on March 18 which this year will feature Arkansas Lt. Governor Leslie Rutledge as guest speaker.
