The current weather pattern will continue in the region according to forecasters from the National Weather Service.
Meteorologist Steve Lindenberg with the NWS Office in Springfield says during a Tuesday interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" that while the recent rounds of severe weather are not normal, it is also not uncommon with swings in temperatures as frontal systems pass through. Lindenberg says that another couple storms systems will be moving through the area over the next week though right now the amount of unstable air might keep the severe threat lower than with the previous systems.
Lindenberg also says that for Holiday travelers next week, the pattern will continue though temperatures will be closer to seasonal norms. Lindenberg also said that temperatures are not expected to drop low enough for any winter precipitation.
