Brittany Martin and Carla Parker with North Arkansas Regional Medical Center [NARMC] talked Thursday about more of the services NARMC provides.
Martin is the director of rehabilitation services. She said those services include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Parker is the clinical supervisor, and she does acute care. This means she sees all of the patients in the hospital. Martin said pediatric and geriatric patients are seen. "This can be sports injuries, this can be post-op surgeries, so total joint replacement," Martin said. She said balance and falling patients also fall into these categories. Martin added that full-service physical and occupational therapy is offered to children with developmental disorders.
The full interview with Martin and Parker is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
