NARMC Announces Addition to Claude Parrish Cancer Center

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center announces a new addition to their cancer center.

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is proud to welcome Dr. Chen Huang, a highly skilled Hematologist and Oncologist, to the Claude Parrish Cancer Center. With extensive experience in treating cancer and blood disorders, Dr. Huang is committed to providing cutting
edge, personalized care while ensuring that patients in North Central Arkansas receive world class treatment close to home. 

Dr. Huang completed he r Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, New York, followed by a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She specializes in a wide range of cancer treatments, including hematology diagnosis and treatment, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, endocrine therapy, bone marrow biopsy management, genomic profiling, and solid tumor treatment. 

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and English, Dr. Huang’s multilingual abilities enhance patient communication, ensuring that every patient and their family feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their care journey. She has worked extensively in both
the United States and internationally, allowi ng her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and bring a global perspective to oncology care. Her dedication to rural healthcare aligns with NARMC’s mission of high quality, accessible cancer care, ensuring that patients
receive expert treatmen t without the need to travel far.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Huang enjoys traveling, spending time with her son, and caring for her dogs and cat.
