The Arkansas State Police has released a report of a traffic crash that occurred Wednesday morning that resulted in two fatalities and two injuries.
According to the report, the crash occurred on Carroll County Road 814 when a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Floridaalma Ochoa of Green Forest crossed the center line negotiating a curve and collided head-on with the vehicle driven by 36-year-old Kasi Smothers also of Green Forest.
Ochoa and one of two passengers in her vehicle, 26-year-old Dayari Anahi Cifuentes of Green Forest died in the crash while a minor female passenger in that vehicle was reported as injured. Smothers also was injured in the crash with both patients taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison for treatment.
205 people have died in crashes reported by the Arkansas State Police in 2025.
