A little bit of moxie and lots of homemade flavors recently rolled into town.
Courageous spirit, determination and perseverance make up moxie. Rogue Stone describes herself as someone who has moxie and doesn’t give up, hence the name of her food truck.
“I felt like the name Moxie just fits really well,” Rogue said. “It gives my truck a little attitude. I wanted to do something that was different than other food trucks.”
It all started when she was watching the Great American Food Truck Race and thought, “I could totally do that.”
“I grew up in a family that cooks,” Rogue said. She makes the majority of her food from scratch and wanted to share that with customers.
On December 3, 2021, Rogue opened up Moxie. The food truck with attitude offers Wagyu beef in taco salads, nachos, hamburgers and more. Rogue offers a constant menu plus daily specials depending on what she decides to cook daily.
Moxie is set up near the Younes Shopping Center in Harrison and is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
