Multiple agencies respond to a fire involving a 7,000-gallon tanker truck in northern Madison County Friday afternoon.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation reported the tanker caught fire on Highway 23 two miles north of Highway 412.
Madison County Fire was assisted by several agencies in fighting the blaze including the Carroll County and Eureka Springs Fire Departments.
Keith Edmonds with Madison County Emergency Management tells KNWA that two people sustained minor injuries in the crash. Edmonds adds that Highway 23 was shutdown for several for fire personnel to work and clear the scene.
