Funding has now opened for Marion County Residents whose primary residence was damaged or destroyed during the tornado outbreak in the Spring.
According to the post from the Marion County Facebook Page, the funding is being administered through the Arkansas Disaster Relief Program. The county can provide limited funding for the immediate needs of individuals or families experiencing significant impacts from the May 2024 tornadoes.
The funding was put together through the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management from private donations made through the Arkansas Disaster Relief Program. Applications will be accepted now through November 15 or until funds run out according to the post.
